Effective Monday
The first phase of the construction/renovation project at Greene County Medical Center will be finished this weekend.
Effective Monday, Aug. 31, many medical center services will have a new home in the new addition.
Services located in the new area include acute nursing, obstetrics, surgery, imaging, lab and emergency care.
Do you have an appointment with one of these areas? Please park in the main lot off Lincoln Way and come in through the hospital’s main entrance, where you will be greeted and directed to your destination. Registration will take place in the hospital’s main lobby.
Need emergency care? Please use the new ER drive off Grimmell Road and park on the east side of the new addition at the new emergency room entrance. You can walk directly into ER, where you will be greeted and registered for care.
Need to see a specialist or visit a clinic? Please park in the lower clinic parking lot and enter the main doors there. The clinic entrance can be used to access Advanced Women’s Care, West Central Orthopedics, 21st Century Rehab, diabetes management, cardiac rehab, respiratory/sleep medicine, UnityPoint Clinic and UnityPoint at Home
With services moved to their new locations, renovation on the space they previously occupied will begin immediately.
“We are excited to offer better access, efficiency and privacy to our patients. Thank you for choosing Greene County Medical Center for your care,” medical center CEO Carl Behne said.
